Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: your email address and password when you register; writing samples you submit for voice analysis; content you generate using the Service; ratings and feedback you submit on generated content; and payment information processed securely by our payment provider (Razorpay). We also automatically collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, and error logs to improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate and provide the Service, including processing your writing samples to generate voice profiles and content. We use your email to send important account notifications and, with your consent, product updates. We use aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve the Service. We never sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Your Voice Profile Data

Your writing samples and generated voice profile are private to your account. They are not shared with other users, not visible to our team in identifiable form, and not used to train any shared or public AI models. Your voice profile is encrypted and stored securely. You can delete your voice profile at any time from your Dashboard.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Supabase (built on AWS infrastructure) with encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. We implement industry-standard security practices including access controls, regular security reviews, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we take commercially reasonable precautions to protect your data.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Generated content and voice profiles are retained until you delete them or delete your account. After account deletion, we purge all associated data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records retained for 7 years for tax purposes).

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Voicra: Supabase (database and authentication), Razorpay (payment processing), Anthropic/OpenAI (AI content generation APIs), and Vercel (hosting). Each of these services has their own privacy policy. We only share with them the minimum data necessary to provide the Service.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. You can manage most of this from your Account Settings. To request a full data export or exercise any data rights, email us at voicra.ai@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Request". We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies only — session tokens required for authentication and security. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but this may prevent you from logging in.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
